INFLUENCE OF THE LEVEL PRUNING ON AGRONOMIC PARAMETERS OF SAVANNAH TEA (LIPPIA MULTIFLORA L., VERBENACEAE) IN YAMOUSSOUKRO, CENTRAL COTE DIVOIRE

On Yamoussoukro autonomous district, a study on the ability of Lippia multiflora L. (Verbenaceae) to shoot and grow was carried out at six soil height levels: 0 cm, 5 10 15 20 25 cm 30 cm. The objectif determine favourable levels pruning for better leaf production. From 28 samples grouped in 7 batches, out. After 3 months vegetation, agronomic parameters vigour were determined. results showed that various growth such as number buds, leaves per bud, bud height, length width well budding time span measured. Receiving from ground resulted good production growth.
